Swagwire is a BLOG founded by Dondi West, a rising social media expert and consultant, under CyberPhunk Media, LLC, a Maryland limited liability company.

The concept for Swagwire was envisioned by West while he was participating as a sponsor/mentor in a Baltimore City-based Male Rights of Passage program. Realizing that the essential elements of being a gentleman are becoming extinct, along with the commonality of devastating news related to celebrity male figures, West started Swagwire as a "one stop shop" for men of all ages, races, creeds, and color.
